Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' mental health challenges, utilizing evidence-based methodologies to develop and implement effective treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
• Facilitate individual therapy sessions employing a variety of therapeutic techniques, aiming to promote personal growth, resilience, and coping strategies for mental health challenges.
• Partner with clients to establish therapeutic goals that are specific, measurable, and achievable, providing consistent tracking of progress to optimize outcomes.
• Deliver high-quality teletherapy services for clients who prefer virtual sessions, ensuring accessibility and engagement in their therapeutic journey.
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation following ethical standards and regulatory guidelines to promote a transparent and accountable practice.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and training to enhance clinical skills and stay informed of the latest advancements in therapy practices and mental health care.

Qualifications

• A active and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Tennessee.
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, allowing you to build trusting therapeutic relationships with clients.
• A strong sense of empathy, compassion, and a nonjudgmental attitude toward clients’ experiences.
• Excellent organization and time management skills to effectively handle a caseload and manage administrative tasks without compromising care quality.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, experience in working within a community health setting and familiarity with various therapeutic modalities will be advantageous. Knowledge in addiction treatment, trauma-informed care, and group therapy facilitation is a plus, as it will enhance your effectiveness in supporting clients with diverse needs.
