Job description

Our client, a large manufacturing & distribution company, is looking for a fully remote Sr. Cash Reconciliation Associate to join their team! The successful candidate will posses strong knowledge of accounting principals, the ability to work independently in a high-volume environment, and have excellent attention to detail!
  • Please no corp-to-corp applicants or third-party agencies. Sub-contracted candidates or candidates that require immediate sponsorship cannot be considered.

Role Overview:
  • Contract Role: Ongoing temporary duration, potential for permanent conversion
  • Pay: $35-40+/hr on W2 (No C2C or 1099)
  • Schedule: Standard 40 hour work week M-F

Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily bank reconciliations and resolve issues with branch teams
  • Research and clear cash, credit card, and posting variances
  • Prepare and post journal entries related to cash adjustments, variances, and reconciliation activity
  • Support month end close activities
  • Prepare daily and weekly reconciliation summaries
  • Maintain audit ready reconciliation documentation for internal and external audits

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related business concentration
  • 3+ years of experience reconciling cash activity, researching variances, and supporting accounting operations
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPS, etc.)
  • Prior ERP system experience (Oracle Fusion or SAP Ariba preferred)
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
