SHIFT: Swing Shift, Monday- Friday, 3:00pm - 11:30pm
Role
Under general supervision, performs maintenance and repair duties as directed. Must be available to work any assigned shift.
Essential Responsibilities
  • Performs assigned preventative maintenance and lubrication for vehicles and equipment.
  • Services and performs safety and maintenance inspections on refuse trucks and equipment.
  • Cleans and repairs garbage and recycle containers.
  • Writes repair orders from driver's Vehicle Condition Reports (VCRs).
  • Picks up parts from vendors as needed.
  • Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with Company policy and OSHA safety procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Six months of related shop experience and basic understanding of heavy equipment terminology.
  • Valid driver's or commercial driver's license preferred.
