Position Summary

The Photolithography department focuses on delivering solutions by developing 24x7x365 teams of elite, fab-oriented, excursion-free, safety and quality minded members. As part of the Photo Equipment Engineering team, you will work together to support one another and our customers regardless of organizational boundaries.
The Spinner Equipment Engineer will be actively transferring next generation technology including Spinner and auxiliary equipment installation, qualification and recipe transfer.

Role and Responsibilities

Here's What You'll Be Responsible For:

  • PerformingSpinnerandauxiliaryequipmentinstallation,includinghardwareandproductqualification.

  • Creatingnextgenerationtechnologynodetransferincludingrecipes,SOPs,BKMs.

  • Attendingandcontributingindailytacticalmeetingswithvendorsandinternalteamsaboutphotolithographyequipment;andattendingweeklymeetingswithvendorsandinternalteamsincludingstrategiccross-functionalmeetingsregardingequipmentmetricsandcontributetodepartmentandsitesimprovementplans.

  • CoordinatingSamsunginternal,externalandmultiplevendorresourcestoprovideoptimummanufacturingsupportonassignedequipment.

  • Investigating,troubleshootingandprovidingtechnicalsolutionstoequipmentrelateddefect,qualityandyieldproblems.

  • Analyzingandreportingtoolperformancedata,includingavailability,meantimetorepair,meantimebetweenfailures,particleanddefecttrends,maintenancesuccess,andsimilarmetricsforassignedequipment.

  • Providingweekendcoverageasneeded(~12weeksayear).YouwillberesponsibleformultipletoolsontheweekendlargerthanyournormalscopeandrequiredtomaketacticaldecisionsbasedonyourassessmentofthedailyoperationsenvironmentinordertosuccessfullyachieveKPI.

  • Understandingofsemiconductorwaferprocessingfundamentalsandphotolithography.

  • FamiliaritywithSPC,FMEA,FDC,yieldanalysisandotherstandardengineeringandmanufacturingpractices.

  • Abilitytotravelinternationallyasneeded.

The current base salary range for this role is between $76,000 - $174,500. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.
