Job Description
Title: Site Manager/Recess Coach
We are for looking for passionate, fun, well-rounded, career-oriented individuals who have the desire and eagerness to work with today's youth/students in an academic school setting.
The Site Manager ( Recess Coach) will be responsible for overseeing recesses, facilitating and implementing Recess 101's services on a daily basis at an assigned site for the entire school year.
Start date: February 2016 - June 2016 (and possibly into the next academic school year)
This Site Manager/Recess Coach will provide support and administer Recess 101's full program at their assigned school. The Site Manager will be in charge of implementing and facilitating recess, student leadership development, and physical activity class. Attend Recess 101's required meetings and training.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications/Expectations:
• Ability to commit from Feb. 2016 - June 2016. Monday - Friday. Must be reliable.
• Experience working with youth in an academic school setting or any youth setting. Previous experience working with youth ages K-5 in any physical activity setting or recreational field is a plus.
• Must have a professional attitude with excellent work ethic.
• Culturally competent and able to work with a diverse population/community.
• A demonstrated ability to teach, coordinate, and motivate students.
• Ability to be a team player - able to adapt and meet changing needs of job demands.
• Ability to accept constructive feedback.
• Take initiative to analyze and problem solve effectively.
• Clear background check
• Negative Tuberculosis Skin Test (TB) Test
• CPR Certified
Additional Information
Pay rate: $1100 - $1400 monthly income ($14 - $17 per hour) depending on experience and work hours.
Part-time position: Monday - Friday 9:00am - 2:30pm 18 - 22 hours per week. Exact work hours to be determined based on assigned site.
