Spa Receptionist
Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Spa Receptionist. In this role, you will be in the reception area of the spa. It includes greeting guests, answering phones, assisting with questions regarding spa services and products, booking all appointments, checking the guest into the computer system upon arrival and charging for services performed. As part of our leadership team, you'll embody our Promise to Lead with Love, guiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences. You'll serve as the first point of contact, creating a welcoming and professional atmosphere that sets the tone for the guest experience. You'll support associates by ensuring smooth scheduling, clear communication, and an organized front desk, contributing to overall operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
  • Properly open and close spa each day according to standard operating procedures.
  • Accurately book, change, and cancel spa appointments in a friendly, courteous and efficient manner.
  • Ability to understand all discount rates, special packages, products, services, and general info needed to handle guest spa reservation requests on a daily basis.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, fully stocked and well-organized work area and assist with overall cleaning duties of the entire spa.
  • Perform other duties as requested by management.

What We're Looking For
  • Exposure to hospitality/salon/spa customer service environment for a minimum of two years is preferred.
  • Must be detail-oriented, have the ability to multi-task, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must possess excellent listening, communication and customer service skills.
  • Must be a team player and enjoy working with people.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 80% of the time.
  • Flexible long hours are sometimes required; that could include nights, weekends, and holidays.
