Job description

Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to join our team. The Medical Receptionist will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our wellness center and providing exceptional customer service to our clients. This position is to work closely with our team to warmly greet patients, handle phone calls, complete payments, manage scheduling and other duties as assigned

Bilingual Preferred

Previous Medical Receptionist experience preferred

Ability to work a minimum of two Saturdays a month required

Hours of clinic are 9a-7p M-F and Saturdays 9a-3p. Must be able to work full shifts during the week and minimum 2 Saturdays

Responsibilities:

  • Greet clients and provide a warm welcome
  • Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's booking system
  • Assist clients with inquiries, bookings, and payments
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
  • Promote various services and products to clients
  • Handle cash register transactions accurately
  • Coordinate with staff to ensure seamless service delivery

Skills:

  • Experience in preparing notes for providers

  • Experience in assisting with in office procedures

  • Proficient in using a cash register for transactions

  • Strong organizational skills to manage appointments effectively

  • Basic math skills for handling payments and reconciliations

  • Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and staff

  • Ability to promote technology sales related to the clinic's services/products

  • Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus

  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role, specifically in a medical setting is beneficial

  • Knowledge of phone etiquette and sales techniques
