We are currently recruiting for a PRN Receptionist. Someone who can create a welcoming first impressiong while keeping our front desk running smoothly. If you enjoy a face-paced environment and being the go-to person for guess and staff, this role is for you!

 Position Summary

The Receptionist facilitates the flow of hospital's communication; provides customer-friendly environment for customers and staff via telephone and face-to-face communication. Communicates department information and updates to receptionists and staff members providing coverage at the front desk.

Key Responsibilities

  • Appropriately answers and responds to incoming telephone calls in a courteous and customer-friendly manner
  • Provides requested information or direction to callers
  • Greets and responds to visitors in a customer-friendly manner
  • Manages visitors sign-in and gives visitors badges
  • Directs and assists visitors and patients to the correct location or staff members as appropriate
  • Manages patient items brought in by visitors
  • Maintains documentation related to Needs Assessment and referral calls
  • Provides clerical support to hospital as needed and assinged by department head
  • Performs other duties as assigned/required by this position
