Job Description
We are in search of a Receptionist to join our growing team. The Receptionist is responsible for performing routine clerical, secretarial and administrative work in answering telephones, receiving the public, providing customer assistance, data processing, and record-keeping.
Responsibilities Include:
  • Greet guests in a professional, friendly, hospitable manner
  • Professionally answer incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate person and redirect accordingly
  • Receive the public and answer questions, in person and by email and telephone; respond to inquiries from employees, customers, and others; refer, when necessary, to the appropriate person, official or department
  • Prepare outgoing mail; sort and distribute incoming mail
  • Close and balance cash drawer at the end of each shift
  • Arrange transportation services when needed
  • File and scan POD's and PO's for Customer Service and Service Departments
  • Order and organize secondary labels
  • Data entry in Docuware and Prophet 21 systems
  • Support Customer Service Department during busy times
  • Project work in support of Customer Service and other departments
  • Open and close visitor area as needed (locking doors, closing blinds, turning off lights)
  • Perform a variety of clerical duties as needed

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • A minimum of 1- 2 years of office environment experience required
  • Customer-centric with a focus on delivering exceptional service
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills that portray professionalism and strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast paces environment
  • Keen attention to detail and accuracy in handling data and documentation
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with minimal direction
  • Ability to type 45 WPM
  • General mathematical skills and knowledge of register operation, including cash, credit cards and register receipts.
  • Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite of products required
  • Ability to physically sit at a desk for long periods
  • Additional duties or special projects as assigned.
