Job description

The Optometry Reception/Technician plays a vital role in ensuring smooth operations at a medium-sized optometry practice. This individual manages patient scheduling and front desk duties, verifies insurance, and maintains accurate patient records. They facilitate appointment coordination for routine eye exams, emergency visits, contact lens fittings, and post-operative care. This role offers opportunities for advancement to optometric technician within a supportive team of 4 to 7 members, utilizing a hybrid scheduling system.

Responsibilities

  • Manage patient scheduling using a hybrid system
  • Oversee front desk operations and greet patients
  • Maintain and update patient records accurately
