Valley Medical Group is looking for a Reception Coordinator to join our reception team and work in our Easthampton Health Center. If you are looking for a dynamic environment, this is your opportunity! 

Position: Reception Coordinator 

Location: Easthampton, MA

Hours:  40 hours, Monday-Friday generally between 8:00am - 5:00pm. Hours will vary depending on department needs. Exact schedule to be discussed at time of interview.

Reporting directly to the Health Center Manager, the Reception Coordinator supervises and oversees the daily operations of the reception department in assigned health center and directly supervises the reception staff.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Direct supervision of reception staff. Oversees staff recruitment and retention. 
  • Ensures regulatory compliance with HIPPAA and Confidentiality laws.
  • Monitors staff performance using established benchmarks. 
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and work with management team to plan and implement. 

Required Qualifications: 

  • Associate degree in health or business administration (or equivalent experience)
  • Prior supervisor experience

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3 – 5 years of experience in providing medical support services
