Job description

Part-Time or Full-Time Position Available

We are looking for a responsible, dependable, trustworthy and hard working Front Desk Assistant to join our oral surgery practice located in Dearborn, MI.

The ideal candidate is friendly, willing to learn, professional, organized, detail-oriented and compassionate with excellent communication skills and a positive attitude. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, works well with patients and coworkers, and can be relied upon to complete tasks accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities include answering and directing telephone calls in a professional and courteous manner; scheduling and coordinating patient appointments; verifying patient insurance coverage and benefits; filing and maintaining patient charts and records; checking patient in and out; assisting with general front desk administrative duties; maintaining an organized and welcoming reception area; light housekeeping and maintaining cleanliness throughout the office; protecting patient confidentiality and sensitive information appropriately and assisting  the team with other duties as needed.
