Job description

Finance Internship

Position Description: A six-month internship focused on providing already graduated college students holding a degree in finance, accounting, or any degree relating to finance with sports finance-focused business experience with an emphasis on leadership, technical, and communication skill-building.

Key Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):
  • Establish the evergreen templates for:

a) Finance Department Operating documents and

b) Finance Policy documents

  • Identify Finance processes and/or tasks and policies that qualify for a formal write-up
  • Codify the Finance processes and policies for formal distribution
  • Assist in Player Union Dues processing and reconciliations
  • Assist in other projects and accounting tasks as requested
Qualifications:
  • Must be skilled with Word and must have excellent communication skills, both verbal & written.
  • Have knowledge of process flow diagram building, data visualization, and knowledge of operating systems relevant to creating these processes.
  • Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration major or recent college graduate with any one of these majors.

Requirements:

  • Recent college graduate able to intern full-time during normal office hours, which are 9 am to 5 pm.

Location: Hybrid- Required to work 3 days in our New York City Office

Reporting to: CFO and Controller

Salary: BA Graduates $20.00 per hour -MBA Graduates $ 30.00 per hour
