Job description

We're looking for a hands-on Shipping & Handling Team Lead to oversee daily shipping and receiving operations while leading a team focused on safety, accuracy, and efficiency.

What You'll Do
  • Lead daily shipping, receiving, and material handling operations in a fastpaced manufacturing environment.
  • Coordinate workflow and labor priorities to ensure ontime customer shipments and production support.
  • Oversee the accurate packaging, staging, loading, and documentation of outbound vehicles and materials.
  • Utilize ODOO ERP to process shipping transactions, inventory movements, receiving activities, and material tracking.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through proper system transactions and physical verification.
  • Monitor incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and compliance.
  • Support and mentor team members while assisting with onboarding and training.
  • Identify shipping discrepancies, inventory concerns, and operational issues and communicate them to leadership.
  • Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
  • Assist with cycle counts, inventory audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Promote a culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and operational excellence.
  • What We're Looking For
  • Previous experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse operations, logistics, or manufacturing.
  • Prior leadership or team lead experience preferred.
  • Experience with ERP or warehouse management systems; ODOO experience is a plus.
  • Forklift experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problemsolving skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fastpaced environment.
  • Basic computer skills and inventory system knowledge.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus but not required.
  • Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
  • Frequently lift and move materials up to 50 pounds.
  • Bend, twist, reach, and perform repetitive motions.
  • Safely work in a manufacturing and warehouse environment.
  • Must be agile and capable of working in confined or small spaces to safely load, position, and secure vehicles within transport trucks.
