Job description

ARC Technologies LLC, a Hexcel company, is the leading manufacturer of radio frequency (RF) and electromagnetic interference (EMI) absorbing materials for defense and wireless applications worldwide and part of Hexcel, a global leader in advanced composites technology.

Hexcel is currently seeking a Shipping/Receiving Clerk for our Amesbury, MA, USA location.

Hourly pay range: $22.43 - $25.08

The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations:

  • Execute the shipping/receiving of products inclusive of material preparation through carrier scheduling and coordinating.
  • Manage shipping/receiving activities through proper coordination with operations, sales/marketing, and quality.
  • Review Shipping Tables to ensure that all requirements are met.
  • Make shipping arrangements for freight shipments to schedule pick-ups and transportation.
  • Executing and shipping of manufactured products at the Amesbury location, including material preparation through carrier scheduling and coordinating

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
  • 1+ years related experience and/or training
  • Basic computer skills to include the functional use of Microsoft Office Suite and other applicable programs
  • Understanding of an MRP system; Microsoft AX exposure is preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups, customers or employees.
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills with the ability to speak to and coordinate distinctly to different work groups.
  • Experience with UPS and FedEx Ship applications preferred.
  • Demonstrate self-motivation with excellent interpersonal skills and high attention to detail and good organization skills.
  • Ability to deal with problems and come to a viable solution, including knowing when and how to escalate issues as necessary.
  • Must be able to obtain a Security Clearance in 90 days.
  • Must be able to operate power fork truck and pallet jack.
