SHIPPING AND RECEIVING SPECIALIST

PRIMARY DUTIES OF THE SHIPPING AND RECEIVING SPECIALIST: As a Shipping and Receiving Specialist, your responsibilities will include:

Managing the shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies.
Collaborating and communicating effectively with logistics technicians, customer service representatives, service providers, and other involved parties.
Preparing items for shipment and assisting with receiving shipments.
Demonstrating strong attention to detail in all tasks.
Organizing daily paperwork and maintaining efficient record-keeping.
Utilizing strong communication skills for e-mails with internal and external stakeholders.
Conducting weekly cycle counting and inventory investigations as assigned by the Shipping Manager.
Coordinating shipments with third-party logistics companies.
Analyzing shipping costs and identifying department savings opportunities.
Acting as a backup for the Shipping Manager when necessary.
