Shipping & Receiving Manager

Job Description

Responsible for all inbound and outbound logistics, including raw material, direct material, MRO, and ATF/NFA-controlled product. Controls documentation, daily interactions with carriers, and inventory management for finished goods, accessories, and soft goods.

Manufacturing General Manager

Responsibilities

  • Verify all inbound and outbound shipments are properly labeled and the required documents are available with each shipment.
  • Receive incoming shipments from vendors and customers (matching POs where possible)
  • Count and check items to ensure the correct items have been received.
  • Supervises shipping/receiving clerk 
  • Prepare packaging materials to safely ship items.
  • Packing items for shipment.
  • Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
  • Maintain inventory of finished goods inventory within the shipping/receiving department.
  • Utilize the shipping system as well as the ERP system to complete shipping/receiving activities.
  • Communicates professionally and effectively to all levels of the organization


Requirements

Qualifications

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen due to ITAR regulations
  • 3+ years relevant experience in manufacturing or distribution environment
  • Able to lift 50 lbs. on occasion
  • Requires constant standing, walking, sitting, and bending throughout the workday.
