Job description

Ambit Chemical Technologies is looking for a detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Clerk to manage incoming and outgoing shipments and materials. This role is crucial in maintaining the efficiency of our supply chain and ensuring the timely distribution of our chemical products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, inspect, and record shipments with raw materials or products.
  • Prepare shipping documents and ensure that orders are shipped in a timely manner.
  • Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to move stock as needed.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure the warehouse is organized.
  • Coordinate with carriers and schedule shipments and deliveries.
  • Comply with safety and handling procedures for hazardous materials.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in logistics or supply chain management a plus.
  • Previous experience in shipping and receiving, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
