Valtir is hiring Shipping/Receiving Manager to support our Fort Worth, TX manufacturing facility. This position will oversee all work activities of the shipping/receiving employees and support the daily operations for the department.
What you’ll do:
- Manage and direct a team, including hiring training and scheduling Shipping and Receiving Admins
- Manage inventory and collaborate with inventory management to ensure adequate stock levels
- Direct employees in meeting quality and on-time delivery requirements
- Monitor team productivity and provide performance evaluations, constructive feedback, mentorship, and disciplinary action when necessary
- Must meet all required expectations of Safety, Quality
- Meet and exceed organizational goals through optimal utilization of personnel and resources
- Serve as a medium of communication between employees and upper management
- Motivate employees by resolving issues and making sound decisions
- Leverage ERP tools to ensure outbound loads are met in a timely manner
- Leverage ERP tools ensuring items are packed and shipped, timely
- Other duties as assigned
What you’ll need:
- 5+ years experience in a manufacturing shipping role
- Minimum of 3 years of management experience preferred
- Must be able to identify and solve complex problems using advanced technical knowledge and creativity.
- Computer literacy, basic understanding of Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of safety and quality policies/procedures
- Strong ability to motivate team members
- Ability to perform all essential functions safely and efficiently including operating forklifts and cranes

- The job is within a fast paced, heavy industrial environment and you may be required to work within various areas of the plant.
