Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Dock Manager - Seafood Operations based in Pass Christian, MS.

We are willing to train the right candidate.

The Dock Manager will oversee daily dock operations, including supervising loading and unloading of seafood, managing shipping and receiving processes, and ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards. They will provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues efficiently. The role involves managing a team, ensuring operational efficiency, and maintaining productive communication with staff and customers.

Qualifications

  • Proven Supervisory Skills with the ability to lead and manage a team effectively
  • Experience in Shipping & Receiving and ensuring compliance with operational standards
  • Strong Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction skills to provide a positive client experience
  • Excellent Communication skills to collaborate with team members and liaise with clients effectively
  • Ability to work on-site outdoors in variable conditions and handle physical tasks related to dock operations
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred (Not Required)

  • Experience in seafood, agriculture, logistics or similar hands on industries
  • Knowledge of safety and compliance standards within seafood or warehouse operations is a plus
