Makwa Global is hiring a Material Coordinator to serve as the logistical nerve center for our operations at NUWCDIVNPT. You will coordinate and expedite the flow of materials, parts, and assemblies between receiving docks, storage bins, and end-user departments. This role is highly systems-focused, requiring a sharp eye for data accuracy within the Accountable Property System of Record (APSR).


Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the routing of incoming materials, verifying Key Supporting Documents (KSDs) such as DD Form 1348-1A to ensure 100% FIAR compliance.
  • Accurately input Goods Receipts (GR) and Material Expenditures into Navy ERP within strict 24-to-72-hour turn-around metrics.
  • Track high-priority (Priority 01-03) materials and coordinate immediate dock-to-desk deliveries.
  • Review production schedules and customer requests to determine material requirements and availability.
  • Maintain strict chain-of-custody documentation for classified, hazardous, and serial-number tracked assets.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • 3+ years of experience coordinating materials, production control, or expediting within a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong computer proficiency, specifically with data entry in complex ERP systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain a DoD CAC/Security Clearance.
