Job description

Shipping & Receiving Associate – 1st Shift

Location: Kenosha, WI

Pay: $24–$27/hour

Shift: 1st Shift | Full-Time

We are looking for a dependable Shipping & Receiving Associate to join a growing precision manufacturing company in the Kenosha area. This is a hands-on position responsible for shipping, receiving, inventory, packaging, forklift operation, and coordinating incoming and outgoing materials.

If you have experience in shipping & receiving, warehouse operations, inventory, or manufacturing and are looking for a stable, long-term opportunity, we'd like to speak with you.

What You'll Do
  • Prepare, package, label, and verify outgoing customer shipments

  • Receive and inspect incoming materials and products

  • Verify counts, weights, packing slips, and shipping documentation

  • Schedule pickups with trucking companies, vendors, and customers

  • Prepare bills of lading and shipping labels

  • Operate a forklift to load and unload trucks

  • Use barcode scanners and computer systems for inventory transactions

  • Pick and issue materials to production as needed

  • Prepare shipments going to outside vendors, including heat treaters and platers

  • Shrink-wrap, band, skid, and package finished products

  • Maintain accurate inventory and shipping/receiving records

  • Assist with light deburring and cleaning/degreasing of parts as needed

  • Maintain an organized shipping department and warehouse

  • Drive a company truck for occasional local pickups and deliveries to customers and vendors

What We're Looking For
  • Previous shipping & receiving or warehouse experience, preferably in manufacturing

  • Forklift experience preferred

  • Comfortable using computers, barcode scanners, and inventory systems

  • Ability to accurately verify quantities, weights, and shipping documents

  • Strong attention to detail and organization

  • Ability to work independently and coordinate multiple shipments

  • Valid driver's license and ability to make local company deliveries

  • Dependable with a strong work ethic
