Job description

Help Keep Production Moving and Customer Orders Shipping

Are you dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? We are seeking an Assembler I to support packaging and shipping operations within our ROTO cell.

In this role, you will package finished parts, prepare daily shipments, operate a pallet jack, cut and thread pipe, and ensure every order is completed according to quality and shipping requirements.

What You’ll Do
  • Package and prepare ROTO cell parts for daily shipment.

  • Verify part numbers, quantities, labels, and shipping information.

  • Inspect parts and packaging for quality and accuracy.

  • Follow packaging specifications, quality instructions, and established procedures.

  • Cut and thread pipe used for finished parts.

  • Operate a pallet jack to move products and materials.

  • Prepare shipping labels, packing slips, and required paperwork.

  • Enter or retrieve information using company shipping and inventory systems.

  • Stage completed orders for shipment.

  • Report damaged parts, packaging issues, or inventory discrepancies.

  • Keep the shipping and packaging area clean, safe, and organized.

What We’re Looking For
  • Previous packaging, shipping, warehouse, or manufacturing experience preferred.

  • Familiarity with JD Edwards, also known as JDE, is a plus.

  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.

  • Ability to safely operate a pallet jack.

  • Basic reading and math skills.

  • Ability to accurately complete shipping and production paperwork.

  • Ability to closely follow quality and work instructions.

  • Strong attention to detail and organization.

  • Reliable attendance and a commitment to meeting daily shipping deadlines.

Physical and Work Requirements

This position is primarily standing and requires frequent walking, along with some bending, reaching, lifting, pushing, and pulling. Candidates must be comfortable working in an active manufacturing and shipping environment.

Pay Details: $20.00 per hour
