Receiving Associate Description: The qualified Receiving Associate will preferably possess have a high school diploma or equivalent and plays a critical role in the accurate and efficient intake of materials into the facility. This position is responsible for unloading shipments, identifying and processing incoming materials, staging for quality checks, and ensuring proper putaway and inventory accuracy. A qualified candidate should possess the knowledge skills and abilities to complete the following:

  • Break down and identify incoming small parcel materials for entry into receiving systems.
  • Receive and break down pallets from both overseas and domestic shipments.
  • Stage materials in designated areas for Quality Control (QC) inspections.
  • Load and unload trucks, ensuring materials are handled safely and efficiently.
  • Put away approved materials into designated storage locations after passing QC.
  • Perform cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Handle expedited materials, ensuring priority processing and timely staging/delivery.

Receiving Associate Requirements: The Receiving Associate should preferably possess a high school diploma or equivalent and have a valid driver’s license. The Receiving Associate should preferably possess at least 1 years of experience using all computer functions necessary to perform receiving duties with a warehouse environment. This includes standing continuously, lifting up to 75lbs unassisted and repetitive use of hands/manual dexterity. The Receiving Associate should possess the ability communicate effectively with co-workers, organize and prioritize job tasks to aid in satisfying customer requirements. The ideal candidate must also possess the ability to work overtime as needed.
