Job Responsibilities

  1. Overseeing Operations: Supervise daily warehouse and receiving operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
  2. Staff Management: Lead, mentor, and train team members to optimize their performance while fostering a positive work environment.
  3. Inventory Control: Establish efficient inventory systems and controls for all materials. Properly store inventory according to established methods.
  4. Quality Assurance: Inspect materials and products upon arrival to ensure they meet quality standards and address any discrepancies.
  5. NCR Status Follow-Up: Follow up with the Purchasing department on open NCRs. Ensure rejected materials are verified, stored in designated quarantine areas, and accessible for further verification.
  6. Coordination with Other Departments: Coordinate with Purchasing, Production, and other departments to ensure effective communication and workflow.
  7. Safety Regulation Compliance: Implement and enforce safety procedures. Conduct bi weekly health and safety meetings, submit meeting minutes, and report/investigate any accidents or minor incidents.
  8. Performance Monitoring: Track team performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  9. Problem-Solving: Quickly address and resolve operational issues to minimize disruptions.
  10. Scheduling: Manage and adjust work schedules to meet deadlines and handle fluctuating workloads effectively.
  11. Equipment Management: Ensure the proper maintenance and operation of all warehouse equipment. Keep a record of all equipment inspection reports on a daily basis to ensure safety and compliance.
  12. Reporting: Prepare daily plans with Cell Leads and teams, discuss with the reporting Manager, and submit a report on pending tasks at the end of each day.
  13. Receiving Operations: Oversee the receiving process, including verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders and report any damage or discrepancies.
  14. Materials Storage: Maintain sustainable warehouse mapping and labeling by conducting daily audits. Maintain an orderly receiving area as well as the general maintenance of the Warehouse.
  15. Production Inquiries: Support production departments with inquiries and requests to ensure accurate and timely deliveries.
  16. 6S Workplace Organization: Implement and maintain the 6S methodology (Sort, set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain, Safety) to enhance workplace organization and efficiency.
  17. Budget Management: Assist in budget planning by monitoring costs and identifying areas for cost savings.
