Job description

Are you someone who likes to stay busy, stay organized, and keep things moving? Join our team as a Shipping & Receiving Clerk, where you'll play an important role in making sure materials and products get where they need to go—on time and accurately.

In this hands-on position, you'll help manage the flow of goods throughout our facility by supporting shipping, receiving, inventory tracking, and general warehouse operations. If you're dependable, detail-oriented, and eager to learn, we'd love to meet you!

What You'll Do

Shipping Support

  • Package and label outgoing shipments with accuracy and care.
  • Prepare packing slips, shipping labels, and other documentation.
  • Stage materials and products for carrier pickups.
  • Help ensure orders are shipped correctly and on schedule.

Receiving Support

  • Receive and unload incoming shipments.
  • Inspect deliveries for damage and verify quantities.
  • Compare received items against packing slips and purchase orders.
  • Organize and store materials in designated warehouse locations.

Inventory & Documentation

  • Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records.
  • Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits.

Minimum Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or GED

Experience and/or Training:
1+ years of experience in a warehouse, shipping, or receiving role (entry-level).
Experience in manufacturing, sheet metal fabrication, or industrial environment.
Basic computer skills and ability to learn ERP or inventory software.
Ability to read and understand shipping documents and labels.
Willingness to learn forklift or pallet jack operation (certification a plus).
Good communication skills and teamwork.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous warehouse or material handling experience.
Familiarity with basic shipping carriers (UPS, FedEx).
Basic understanding of inventory or warehouse terminology.

Physical and Mental Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and use foot/feet to operation machinery.
Must be able to frequently stand, walk, and use hands to finger, handle, or touch objects, tools, or controls.
Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, and move from place to place.
The employee regularly be able to regularly talk, listen, climb or balance and reach above shoulders.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and depth perception.
