Job description

The Opportunity

CULTA is looking for a relationship-driven Sales Manager to own an assigned portfolio of wholesale accounts across Maryland. You'll be the trusted point of contact for our wholesale partners - consulting on product needs, sharing industry insight, and making sure every partner gets maximum value from CULTA's products. This is a high-visibility role that partners directly with our CEO and cross-functional teams to drive wholesale revenue growth.

What You'll Do

  • Own the relationship for an assigned portfolio of wholesale accounts, with real responsibility for retention and growth.
  • Build genuine, trusted relationships across every customer touchpoint.
  • Consult with wholesale partners on product needs, industry trends, and best practices.
  • Drive client retention, upsells, and satisfaction across your portfolio.
  • Identify new opportunities and generate leads within existing accounts.
  • Deliver polished presentations to partner stakeholders - store owners, buyers, and operations teams.
  • Execute approved promotions, pricing incentives, and account-specific offers in the field.
  • Track, process, and reconcile back-end credits, rebates, and promotional allowances.
  • Report account performance and KPI data to support company-wide reporting.
  • Partner with Finance on billing and invoicing, and with cross-functional teams to exceed customer goals.

What You Bring

  • 3+ years of experience in wholesale account management, customer success, or B2B sales.
  • Strong relationship-building skills - you earn trust through communication and follow-through.
  • Sharp analytical, organizational, and business instincts in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM tools (or the ability to pick them up fast).
  • Ability to qualify as a registered agent with the Maryland Cannabis Administration (MCA) - no violent or drug-related felony convictions.

Nice to Have

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in cannabis or another regulated/CPG industry.
  • Familiarity with wholesale ordering and compliance systems (METRC, Dutchie Wholesale, LeafLink).
  • A track record running trade promotions, discounts, or incentive programs - and tracking the credits or rebates that come with them.

Good to Know

  • Onsite as needed, with regular travel to dispensaries and partner events.
  • A fast-paced, evolving environment where priorities shift.
  • Standard business hours, with occasional flexibility to support client needs.

Ready to grow Maryland's wholesale cannabis market with us?

Apply today and bring your relationship-building expertise to a team shaping the future of the industry.
