The Rebate Analyst I will diligently process, track, and reconcile rebate programs to ensure accuracy and compliance with contract terms. This role is crucial for maintaining accurate rebate data and supporting timely submissions to manufacturers. The Rebate Analyst will collaborate effectively with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and contribute to the efficient operation of rebate management processes.

We are a growing company which performs unique analysis of purchase data. We are looking for an organized, detail-oriented Rebate Analyst to become an essential part of our team. The right person will welcome challenges, thrive in a small team environment, and be eager to learn new skills.

This role will be located near our New London, CT office and will be hybrid 3 days in office. We are unable to provide sponsorship for work authorization for this role.

Your Impact:

Rebate Processing & Administration

  • Administer customer and vendor rebate programs in accordance with contract terms, including program structures, tiers, exclusions, and eligibility criteria.
  • Review, validate, and reconcile rebate claims to ensure accuracy and completeness, and ensure timely submission to vendors.
  • Communicate with internal teams (Procurement, Finance, BI, Products, Sales, AP/AR) to obtain rebate data, resolve discrepancies, and respond to inquiries.

Data Management & Reporting

  • Maintain rebate tracking systems and databases, ensuring data integrity through ongoing validation and cleansing.
  • Support month-end close and financial reporting activities related to rebate accruals, adjustments, and audits by providing documentation and analysis.
  • Generate standard and ad hoc reports on rebate performance

Contract & Program Support

  • Track contract milestones, renewal dates, and program changes to ensure ongoing compliance and continuity.
  • Identify opportunities to improve rebate program efficiency and support process improvement initiatives.

Analytical Thinking: Interprets data to draw sound conclusions and identify discrepancies.

Accuracy & Attention to Detail: Consistently produces high-quality, error-free work with a commitment to data accuracy.

About You:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of work experience in rebate analysis, pricing, finance, or related roles.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel competency including Power Query, Macros & VBA, and Advanced Formulas.
  • Experience with SQL, Python, and other scripting or data analysis tools preferred.
  • Experience with rebate or contract management platforms preferred.
  • Familiarity with contract management concepts and revenue operations processes preferred.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles (debits, credits, accruals) preferred.
  • Experience incorporating artificial intelligence (AI) tools into daily workflows to automate repetitive processes and enhance decision-making.
