Position Description
Drisco is a drilled shaft contractor that services the Transmission Line industry by installing drilled piers for transmission lines and/or substations.
The Foreman is responsible for leading a group of Groundmen performing the daily tasks of installing drilled shafts, in accordance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, company policies and objectives. Follow instructions provided by a Field Superintendent with daily tasks and expectations for each specific project or jobsite in an effective and efficient manner as needed to satisfy internal and external customer requirements.
Applicants should be able to:
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and OSHA regulations creating a safe working environment
  • Provide direction and supervision to Groundmen to perform the tasks and meet expectations
  • Safely work around heavy equipment such as drill rigs, dozers, telehandlers, loaders, cranes, etc
  • Safely perform rigging and signaling when picking items

Position Requirements
  • Inspect, maintain, and operate hand tools, power tools, and other various equipment.
  • Operate various construction instruments to achieve proper layout and elevation.
  • Build and/or erect formwork for drilled shafts
  • Work as a team member tying rebar, placing rebar cages, placing large anchor bolts, placing concrete, etc.
  • Read, interpret, and follow plans, specifications, and other contract documents.
  • Problem solve and provide solutions to common jobsite issues.
  • Communicate well with others on the jobsite both verbally and using hand signals.
  • Demonstrate a continuous effort to improve operations, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide a quality customer service.
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Must have valid email address and phone number
  • Must pass pre-employment screening
  • Lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
  • Work indoors or outdoors in all types of environments
  • Bend, kneel, walk on rough terrain, and climb in and out of equipment and work areas
  • Travel to project locations
  • Work overtime when required
