Company Logo Overview Suncoast Post Tension, Ltd., a Keller company, is an established post-tension and rebar manufacturing company that has been in business for over 30 years. We supply construction related materials to builders from one of our eight facilities in the US. We are seeking an experienced Rebar Fabrication Laborer who is ready to take the next step in their career. If you have deep, hands-on experience in a rebar fabrication shop and are looking for a clear pathway to transition into a Shop Foreman role, this is your opportunity. This position operates in a fast-paced, high-volume warehouse environment. You will initially lead by example on the production floor—safely operating heavy fabrication machinery—while shadowing current leadership to learn our operations, workflow scheduling, and team management. Responsibilities Machine Operation: Safely and proficiently operate rebar shears, benders, and automated MEP or Schnell fabrication equipment to cut and bend steel to precise engineering specifications Leadership Pathway: Assist the current Shop Foreman with daily operations, production scheduling, material tracking, and quality control checks, preparing to step into the Foreman role Quality Assurance: Read and interpret placing drawings, blueprints, and shear/bend lists to ensure all finished products meet exact tolerances and project standards Material Handling: Safely lift, carry, and maneuver materials throughout production cycles Mentorship & Safety: Help train junior fabricators on equipment operation and enforce strict adherence to company safety protocols, including PPE compliance and routine machine maintenance Qualifications Must have direct, verifiable experience working in a rebar fabrication shop Proven hands-on experience operating the following specific machinery: Rebar Shears (mechanical or hydraulic) Rebar Benders (table benders, radius benders) MEP or Schnell automated fabrication equipment Physical Ability: Must be able to lift and move up to 50 lbs on a regular, repetitive basis throughout the shift Work Environment: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, heavy industrial warehouse environment that can be subject to seasonal temperature variations Schedule Flexibility: Ability to work 12-hour shifts starting at 4:00 AM.
