How much do realtor internship jobs pay per hour?
What can I expect in terms of mentorship and teamwork during a Realtor Internship?
What is the difference between Realtor Internship vs Real Estate Agent?
| Aspect | Realtor Internship | Real Estate Agent |
|---|---|---|
| Credentials | Typically no licensing required; may be a prerequisite for licensing | Requires state licensing and passing a real estate exam |
| Work Environment | Internship setting, often in brokerage offices or on-site with agents | Active in property listings, client meetings, and showings |
| Employer & Industry Usage | Used as a training period within real estate brokerages | Licensed professionals working independently or with brokerages |
The main difference is that a Realtor Internship is an educational opportunity for aspiring real estate professionals, often without licensing requirements, while a Real Estate Agent is a licensed professional actively working in property transactions. Internships provide hands-on experience, whereas agents handle client negotiations and sales independently.
