Job description

This position works from 2:30 PM - 1 AM, Monday – Thursday, with an option for overtime!

We won’t lie; this job does come with some important responsibilities.


To name a few, this person will:

  • Have a background in batching (highly preferred)
  • Execute daily activities ensuring production deadlines are met in a safe and timely manner
  • Have the ability to be cross trained in other work-related areas and processes
  • Ability to set up, monitor, and adjust filler, bander, tape machine, and other various filling equipment to assure safe equipment operation and product quality
  • Batch, blend, and operate mixing equipment
  • Assist in equipment inspections and calibration
  • Follow SOP as required by job assignments
  • Control product quality through communicating item damage or off spec condition that exist to QC
  • Accurately fill, pack, and label orders according to work order specs
  • Perform sanitation responsibilities as needed and/or required
  • Ensure equipment and work area readiness and cleanliness in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisors


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Filling line, production equipment maintenance, troubleshooting experience, GMP training a plus
  • Must be punctual with good attendance
  • Must be able to perform heavy lifting and physical work
  • Basic math skills required
