Location: 
The Augmented Reality Learning Developer will be based onsite at our Center of Excellence & Training Center in Waukesha, WI. 
Position Overview:
We are looking for an innovative and experienced Augmented Reality Learning Developer to lead the design, animation and implementation of augmented reality applications for our learning and development programs that support our INNIO business groups. The ideal candidate will have experience in augmented reality development and 3D animation, with a proven track record of creating engaging and interactive learning experiences.
Essential Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of augmented reality experiences for learning and development purposes.
  • Utilize 3D animation techniques to create immersive and interactive augmented reality learning experiences.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to integrate augmented reality and 3D animation into live courses, e-learning, and job-aids.
  • Conduct and oversee research on the latest augmented reality and 3D animation technologies and how they can be applied to learning and development.
  • Test, refine, and oversee the implementation of augmented reality experiences and supporting devices to ensure they meet learning objectives and usability standards.
  • Provide expert technical support for augmented reality experiences, including troubleshooting and resolving complex issues.
  • Create comprehensive documentation for augmented reality development processes and user guides, ensuring clarity and accessibility for all augmented reality experiences.
  • Ensure instructor preparedness when new augmented reality experiences and 3D animations are introduced.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in augmented reality technology, e-learning, and 3D animation, and disseminate this knowledge to leadership and the team.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Education, or related field; specialized training in Augmented Reality training development preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in the training and development field including the development and delivery of training programs.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job.
  • Less than 5% travel expected.
Preferred Skills:
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Adult Education, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience as an augmented reality developer, or role in a similar capacity.   
  • Strong knowledge of augmented reality development tools (PTC Creo Parametric, Illustrate, Vuforia Studio, and Thingworx a plus), programming languages, and 3D animation software.
  • Experience using AI to generate learning content and create process automations a plus.
  • Experience with e-learning platforms, learning management systems, and augmented reality device infrastructure.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet budget and deadline requirements.
  • Experience translating technical information into easily understood instructional programs.
  • Change agent and self-starter that welcomes change and can evaluate, initiate, and introduce new learning concepts.
  • Strong focus on customer satisfaction and able to co-operate with others at all levels and times demonstrating strong teamwork.
