Job description

A Snapshot of Your Day
Will perform operations on castings for surface preparation such as blasting, belting, grinding, and benching according to production specifications to produce parts of exceptional quality in the Gibsonton Florida Location.
How You'll Make an Impact
  • Setting up and operating benching procedures on castings using basic tools like die grinders, tool belts, buffing wheels, blast cabinets, and auxiliary equipment.
  • Preparing castings to be visually inspected.
  • Using Mercury to verify serial numbers, adjusting machines, performing troubleshooting, and maintaining the quality of the parts produced.
  • Performing improvement analysis and basic or defined maintenance operations with maintenance technicians or external service providers.
  • Cross training and other duties may be assigned as needed.
What You Bring
  • Minimum of High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • One or more years of experience using hand tools, a background with plastics or ceramics extrusions or injection/blow mold is a plus.
  • Experience with inspection Equipment (calipers, pin gauges, etc.) is a plus.
  • Able to perform math functions using the metric system and read engineering instructions.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
  • This position will require an export license from the Department of Commerce, Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the Department of State, Directorate of Defense Trade Controls. Issuance of any required license is a prerequisite for this position. The candidate must be able to work with export-controlled technology in accordance with US export control law.
