Job description

  • Design, develop, integrate, and verify real-time embedded software across the full V-model software lifecycle
  • Perform requirements analysis and definition
  • Develop software architecture and detailed designs
  • Implement and integrate code
  • Execute verification, validation, and testing
  • Contribute to Stores Management Computer and Station Carriage Control Unit software
  • Develop embedded software using C, C++, and/or Ada
  • Implement software using bare-metal drivers and real-time operating systems
  • Develop software targeting the AMD/Xilinx UltraScale+ MPSoC
  • Integrate software supporting MIL-STD-1553 data bus communications
  • Develop and execute verification activities using unit test frameworks, Robot Framework, LDRA, VectorCAST, and/or custom embedded test applications
  • Apply software safety, certification, and airworthiness standards including DO-178, MIL-HDBK-516C, and/or JSSSEH
  • Support proposal and capture efforts through technical inputs, estimates, and development approach documentation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams on an undisclosed program
Requirements
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field
  • 4 to 6 years of experience developing real-time embedded software
  • Proficiency in C, C++, and/or Ada
  • Experience executing work across the full software development lifecycle (V-model), from requirements through verification
  • Experience working with bare-metal drivers and RTOS-based systems
  • Experience with software verification methods, tools, and test execution
  • U.S. citizenship status required
  • Ability to meet U.S. Person requirements for access to U.S. export-controlled information: U.S. lawful permanent resident, U.S. citizen, asylee, or refugee
