Job description

Do you have a passion for providing superior customer service? Scratch Bakery Cafe located in Laguna Hills is looking for service minded individuals to join our team. You will take orders and serve food to patrons at the dining establishment. Several Part-Time positions are available. Applicants should be available between the hours of 6:30 am and 5:30 pm. Weekends required.  Hourly wage plus tips.
Responsibilities:

  • Take customer food and beverage orders
  • Serve food and beverages to guests
  • Explain to guests about menu items
  • Barista duties (prepare lattes and other coffee drinks) - will train
  • Clean and prepare the dining areas
  • Greet and make all guests feel welcome at the restaurant
  • Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely fashion
  • Perform other restaurant duties as assigned
Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in customer service, food service, or other related fields is preferred
  • Ability to build rapport with guests
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
