Job description

Updated with the Real Estate Manager title and a $100,000–$120,000 base salary range.

Real Estate Manager

Confidential Search | National Multi-Site Equipment Rental Company

Location: Greater Phoenix / East Valley, AZ

Work Arrangement: On-site

Travel: Approximately once per month

Compensation: $100,000–$120,000 base salary

Help Build the Footprint of a Growing National Platform

A fast-growing national equipment rental company has partnered with our recruiting firm to hire a Real Estate Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded, operations-focused professional who knows how to identify, evaluate, and secure the right locations to support multi-site growth.

This role is ideal for someone who understands that great real estate is about more than square footage. The right candidate will know how to evaluate a site through an operational lens, including access, power, water, yard flow, equipment movement, visibility, layout, and overall branch functionality.

You will work closely with senior leadership to support expansion planning, optimize the company’s real estate footprint, and help shape the future of a growing national platform.

What You’ll Do

As Real Estate Manager, you will support commercial location strategy and site evaluation for new and existing markets. You will play a key role in identifying sites that support branch operations, customer access, equipment flow, and long-term growth.

Responsibilities include:

  • Source, evaluate, and recommend commercial real estate locations for equipment rental operations.
  • Assess sites based on operational requirements such as power, water, access, yard layout, configuration, traffic flow, and equipment movement.
  • Support market expansion planning across a national, multi-site footprint.
  • Partner with senior leadership on real estate strategy, site selection, and growth priorities.
  • Work cross-functionally with operations, finance, sales, and other internal teams to ensure sites meet business needs.
  • Review location opportunities with a practical understanding of how each site will function day to day.
  • Travel approximately once per month to evaluate markets, sites, and operating locations.
  • Help create a scalable and thoughtful approach to real estate decision-making as the company continues to grow.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a hands-on real estate or operations professional who understands commercial sites and knows how to evaluate them for real-world business use.

Ideal qualifications include:

  • Experience with commercial real estate, site selection, location strategy, market planning, or multi-site expansion.
  • Strong understanding of operational site requirements, including power, water, access, yard configuration, layout, and traffic flow.
  • Experience supporting multi-site operations, branch networks, or field-based service businesses.
  • Background in equipment rental, construction services, industrial services, commercial services, logistics, or another operationally focused business is highly valued.
  • Ability to work on-site in the Greater Phoenix / East Valley area.
  • Willingness to travel approximately once per month.
  • Comfort working directly with senior leadership in a visible and collaborative role.
  • Practical, business-minded approach to evaluating real estate opportunities.
  • Strong communication, organization, and decision-making skills.

Candidates May Come From Backgrounds Such As

  • Equipment rental
  • Construction services
  • Industrial services
  • Commercial services
  • Multi-site operations
  • Site selection or commercial real estate strategy
  • District, regional, or market leadership roles in service-based businesses

This could be an excellent next step for a District Sales Manager, Regional Manager, Market Manager, Real Estate Manager, Site Selection Manager, or Operations Leader who has strong market knowledge, understands branch functionality, and knows what makes a commercial location successful.

Real Estate License

A real estate license is not required for this role.

Technology Environment

The company operates in a modern, Microsoft-based environment and uses a range of business systems across CRM, ERP, accounting, spend management, business intelligence, telematics, phone systems, and site monitoring. Experience with similar platforms is helpful, but specific system experience is not required.

Why This Opportunity Stands Out

This is a highly visible role with direct access to executive leadership and meaningful influence over the company’s growth strategy. You will have the opportunity to help shape how new sites are identified, evaluated, and brought into the network.

This opportunity offers:

  • Meaningful impact across a growing national footprint.
  • Direct partnership with senior leadership.
  • A key role in expansion, market planning, and site optimization.
  • Strong compensation in the $100,000–$120,000 base salary range.
  • Monthly travel rather than heavy weekly travel.
  • No real estate license requirement.
  • A chance to help build the next phase of a successful multi-site equipment rental platform.

Compensation

The base salary range for this role is $100,000–$120,000, depending on experience.
