Job Title - Real Estate Representative

JOB DESCRIPTION:
As a leader in Out-of-Home (Billboard) Advertising in North America, we help people, places, and businesses grow stronger! The primary responsibility for this position is Real Estate Development. This includes site identification, leasing, and permitting of new Out-of-Home Advertising assets (billboards, street furniture, and larger-than-life wall graphics). Secondary responsibilities include managing existing real estate assets to include lease renewal / easement negotiations, and other related matters as deemed necessary by management.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Development
  • Identify new sites for sign development (including both Traditional and Digital Billboards, Street Furniture, and Wallscapes/Supergraphics).
  • Negotiate leasing of properties on equitable terms for a significant duration, and service each lease through its duration.
  • Serve as a liaison between operations and sales management to assure the quality and timeliness of sign installation.
  • Travel as needed to meet with property owners throughout the DFW Metroplex.
  • Learn and understand the sign codes/ordinances in all of the of the major DFW area municipalities, and
  • Meet with Local, State and/or Federal governmental officials and their staff where legislative lobbying is acceptable and appropriate.
  • Manage Existing Real Estate Assets
  • Renew leases on equitable terms as prescribed by Client X’s lease renewal guidelines.
  • Settle any discrepancies (property-line disputes, ingress-egress problems, roof damage, etc.) to the satisfaction of the concerned parties.
  • Secure and renew permits for locations with all applicable jurisdictions.
  • Maintain all lease files and records with optimum accuracy and completeness.
  • Direct the administrative activities of the Real Estate Assistant.
