About The Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Real Estate Construction Project Manager to join our Workplace team at Anthropic. This critical role will be a key contributor for our global real estate projects across multiple office locations, serving as the central liaison between external project managers, vendors, and internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate will bring 8+ years of corporate real estate construction project management experience, with exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, maintain meticulous attention to detail in a fast paced environment. This role will also support developing project management office (PMO) functions and tools with guidance from the Head of Construction.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management (70%)

  • Own the delivery of multiple small-mid size real estate projects up to 50,000 square feet across an international portfolio, ensuring swift project set up, timely completion, and within budget parameters
  • Serve as primary liaison between external project managers and internal stakeholders, facilitating clear communication and project alignment
  • Represent Anthropicโ€™s interests while managing vendors including contract and invoice reviews
  • Accountable for project milestones, deliverables, financials, and potential risks across all active projects
  • Oversee project meetings and ensure follow-through on all commitments

Project Management Office (PMO) Development (30%)

  • Partner with the Head of Construction to develop internal PMO tools including templates for vendor RFPs, bid leveling, project charters, project kick off agendas, and lessons learned protocols
  • Build and maintain project reporting dashboards, cost benchmarks, and KPI tracking that give leadership real visibility into portfolio health
  • Establish project delivery playbooks and project control checklists for recurring project types (coworking activations, fit-outs, restacks) to ensure efficient and high quality project delivery
  • Develop project documentation standards to ensure files are properly maintained and accessible
  • Launch and manage new PMO tools and standards on live projects, review outcomes, and collect feedback for continuous improvement
Minimum Qualifications
  • Experience in corporate real estate construction project management on the client-occupier side
  • Demonstrated experience managing external project managers, general contractors, and FF&E vendors; comfortable reviewing contracts and invoices
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities to ensure regular and clear project team and stakeholder communication
  • Experience with developing and implementing PMO tools and processes seamlessly with in-flight projects
  • Proficient with Google Suite applications
  • Work independently while knowing when to elevate issues appropriately
Preferred Qualifications
  • Have minimum 8 years of relevant experience
  • Have international real estate project management experience in rapid-growth technology company
  • Demonstrate experience with process improvement and operational excellence
  • PMP certification or equivalent
Annual Salary

$145,000-185,000 USD
