Job description

The Market Center Operations Manager is responsible for leading the financial and daily operational functions of the Market Center. This individual serves as the gatekeeper of the Market Center’s money, ensuring that financial records, transactions, commissions, expenses, and accounts receivable are managed accurately and responsibly.

The MCOM works closely with the Team Leader, Operating Principal, Broker, staff, agents, vendors, and leadership team to ensure the Market Center operates efficiently, profitably, and with a high level of customer service.

This is a leadership position that requires strong financial management, attention to detail, excellent judgment, problem-solving abilities, and the confidence to manage staff and address operational concerns.

The ideal candidate enjoys numbers, spreadsheets, organization, systems, and documented processes. They must be able to remain calm, professional, and accurate while supporting real estate professionals who work in a fast-moving, deadline-driven environment.

Compensation:

$50,000


Responsibilities:
  • Manage Market Center financials, including budgets, financial reports, expenses, accounts payable, and overall profitability.

  • Process closings, commission checks, agent payments, and financial transactions accurately and on time.

  • Collect outstanding accounts receivable from agents and communicate financial concerns to leadership.

  • Lead, manage, hire, train, and hold Market Center staff accountable for performance and customer service.

  • Oversee daily operations, systems, procedures, vendors, facilities, and issues affecting the Market Center.

  • Identify problems, develop solutions, improve processes, and provide leadership with timely updates on concerns and risks.

  • Deliver exceptional customer service while confidently supporting fast-moving real estate agents in a high-volume environment.


Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in real estate, accounting, bookkeeping, finance, business operations, or office management.

  • Strong leadership experience with the ability to hire, train, manage, and hold staff accountable.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, financial reporting, and data management.

  • Exceptional attention to detail, organization, accuracy, and follow-through.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues, recommend solutions, and communicate concerns promptly.

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to work professionally with fast-moving real estate agents and strong personalities.
