Real estate lending can include residential loans for homebuyers, as well as commercial loans for businesses investing in property. Lenders evaluate the borrower's creditworthiness, the value of the property, and other factors before approving a loan. The terms and interest rates can vary based on the type of loan, property, and borrower qualifications.
