OverviewThis position supports the Real Estate Finance Director in overseeing the financial management of the real estate portfolio which includes over 150 locations across the Bronx and Westchester County including 22 parking lots, 180 leases.

Responsibilities

  • Responsibilities include: track site occupancy and monitor SFA (Square footage allocation), prepare Tax amortization and related accounting reports, analyze vendor billing against payment.
  • Review receivable aging report, apply tenant payments and monitor collection. 

Requirements

    • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required
    • 5+ years of experience in finance, real estate, paralegal or managing contracts required  
    • Reacts well under pressure and keeps emotions under control while using reason to manage difficult situations.
    • Ability to function and complete assignments in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment
    • Displays original and creative thinking through innovative suggestions for improving work and alternative solutions to problems. 
    • Exhibits good oral communication skills by speaking clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations, listening without interrupting, getting clarification, and responding well to questions. 
    • Strong analytical skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to solve problems and make recommendations
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with SAP platform
    • Audit and internal controls background is a plus
