Job description

We are seeking a motivated Real Estate Attorney to manage residential and/or commercial real estate closings and provide legal support to our real estate and estate planning clients. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing firm known for exceptional client service and long-term community relationships.

What You'll Do

ยท Lead all aspects of real estate closings, including contract review, due diligence, title review, clearing issues, document preparation, settlement statements, and funding.

ยท Advise clients throughout the transaction process and communicate with buyers, sellers, agents, and lenders.

ยท Identify and resolve title issues, payoff matters, HOA/condo issues, and lender requirements.

ยท Stay current on State real estate laws, recording requirements, and local practices.

ยท Support related estate planning or probate matters as needed.

ยท Maintain accurate files, deadlines, and internal checklists to ensure smooth, timely closings.

What You'll Bring

ยท Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

ยท Active Georgia, North Carolina, or South Carolina law license in good standing 

ยท 1โ€“3+ years of real estate transaction experience preferred; estate planning exposure a plus.
