Our ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience with full-charge bookkeeping in the construction industry. They will help our team ensure budgets, timelines, and job costs are accurate and oversee all financial transactions for the company, including accounts payable and receivables, payroll, and bank reconciliation. Responsibilities:

What you’ll do:

  • Enter financial transactions, manage A/P and A/R, payroll, and reconciliations
  • Prepare financial reports, assist with forecasting, and budgets
  • Reconcile real estate commissions and support tax reporting

What success looks like at 6 months:

  • Accurate, timely month-end close, streamlined commission processes



Qualifications:
  • A high school diploma is required - an associate’s degree in accounting, or business, or related field is preferred
  • 5 years of experience in accounting or full-charge bookkeeping experience in the construction industry
  • Exceptional organization, analytical, problem solving, and communications skills are important
  • Familiarity with construction accounting concepts, tax strategies, and best practices
  • Well-versed with Microsoft Office, Excel, and accounting software, such as QuickBooks

What you bring (must-haves):

  • 3–5+ years of bookkeeping/accounting experience
  • Proficient with QuickBooks and Excel; strong tech skills
  • High professionalism and attention to detail

Nice-to-haves:

  • Real estate commission reconciliation experience
