Location: Washington, D.C.

Direct Counsel is seeking a mid-level to senior Real Estate Associate or Counsel to join a prestigious Am Law 100 firm in Washington, D.C. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-value commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financings, and joint ventures for institutional investors and private equity real estate funds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Represent institutional equity investors and private equity real estate funds in all phases of the investment cycle.

  • Advise on complex real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, and financings.

  • Structure and negotiate joint venture agreements for large-scale commercial real estate projects.

  • Assist clients in real estate lending transactions, including mortgage and mezzanine loans.
