Real Estate Lending Associate (4–6 Years) – Chicago, IL | Hybrid

Job Type: Full-Time | Hybrid


Overview
Direct Counsel is seeking a Real Estate Lending Associate to join a leading law firm in Chicago. This role offers the opportunity to work with financial institutions and developers on complex real estate and asset-based lending transactions.


Responsibilities

  • Represent lenders in real estate and asset-based loan originations
  • Support financing transactions involving real estate and other collateral
  • Assist developers with acquisitions, sales, and financing matters
  • Manage multiple transactions and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

  • 4–6 years of real estate lending experience
  • Experience representing financial institutions (loan origination required)
  • Developer-side experience is a plus
  • Strong communication, organization, and client service skills
  • Illinois Bar admission (or ability to waive in) required

Compensation & Benefits

  • $235,000 – $320,000 base salary + bonus
