Our client is seeking an experienced commercial real estate paralegal/Tittle Analyst. This full-time position plays a key role in supporting property acquisitions, operations, and portfolio management. The successful candidate will work closely with the legal, construction, and asset management teams to ensure all real estate transactions and documentation are handled efficiently and accurately.

Key Responsibilities

Position Overview

The Real Estate Paralegal / Title Analyst will provide comprehensive support across property acquisitions, leasing, construction, and transactional matters. The successful candidate will work closely with attorneys, asset managers, and construction teams to ensure all legal, contractual, and operational requirements are met with precision and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Title and Survey Review

  • Analyze title commitments, ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys, and associated documents, including easements, restrictions, and covenants.

  • Identify potential risks and summarize findings for attorneys and management, preparing objection notices as required.

  • Coordinate with title companies and surveyors to update commitments, pro forma policies, and survey documentation.

  • Verify deed legal descriptions against survey and GIS data, requesting corrections when necessary.

  • Conduct research on zoning regulations and assist with property subdivision coordination.

Lease Administration and Tenant Documentation

  • Draft, distribute, and track estoppel certificates and SNDAs, ensuring timely responses from tenants and stakeholders.

  • Prepare detailed lease abstracts for new leases and amendments, capturing critical lease terms for legal review and internal records.

  • Draft and issue tenant default notices in collaboration with in-house counsel, ensuring compliance with lease agreements.

Construction and Contract Support

  • Assist with legal documentation for construction and vendor agreements, including subcontractor forms, service contracts, and design agreements.

  • Support review and organization of construction-related contracts in coordination with internal teams.

Transactional Support

  • Provide paralegal support for acquisitions and dispositions, including entity formation, due diligence, title and survey review, financing coordination, and closing activities.

  • Ensure all documentation complies with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

  • Paralegal certificate preferred.

  • 3–5 years of experience in commercial real estate, including property administration and title analysis.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex title and survey information.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel required.
