Real Estate Assistant

Position Type: Full-Time

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Real Estate Assistant to join our growing real estate practice. Our real estate attorneys work on significant real estate transactions and development projects across the country.

We're looking for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple real estate matters and deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Assist attorneys with real estate matters from contract through closing and post-closing
  • Manage transaction files, closing checklists, deadlines, documents, and outstanding items
  • Assist with the collection and organization of due diligence, title, survey, and other transaction materials
  • Prepare, revise, proofread, and organize correspondence and transaction-related documents
  • Coordinate signatures, closing documents, and pre-closing and post-closing tasks
  • Communicate and coordinate with clients, lenders, title companies, attorneys, and other parties to help keep transactions moving toward closing
  • Maintain organized electronic files and provide day-to-day support to the Real Estate team

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of real estate experience
  • Experience with real estate closings, title, and transaction documents
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple matters, priorities, and deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and follow matters through completion
  • Team-oriented with a willingness to support colleagues when needed
  • Tech-savvy with strong Microsoft 365 skills and the ability to quickly learn new technology

Preferred Qualifications

  • Commercial real estate experience

Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range: $60,000โ€“$80,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications
