Job description

Real Estate Assistant (Licensed) — Listings, Buyers & Contract-to-Close

Byrne Real Estate Group, one of Austin's most trusted real estate teams, is looking for a sharp, detail-obsessed Licensed Real Estate Assistant to directly support our two lead agents, Clay and Lesley, across listings, buyers, and contract-to-close. This is the operational backbone of a high-producing team — the person who keeps every transaction on track, every deadline hit, and every client feeling taken care of.

If you're a licensed professional who loves systems, thrives on checklists, and takes pride in being the one who never lets a ball drop, we want to meet you. You'll work shoulder-to-shoulder with agents who have 25+ years of Central Texas expertise, in an office that runs on precision and genuine care for clients. We're hiring for the long term, and we invest in the people who grow with us.

Compensation:

$75,000 - $90,000

Responsibilities:
  • Manage listings from intake to launch: prepare listing paperwork and disclosures, coordinate photography/staging/signage, build MLS entries, and keep marketing materials moving

  • Support buyers through the full process: schedule showings, track offers and deadlines, and keep clients informed at every step

  • Own contract-to-close for both listings and buyer deals: open title, track contingency and option periods, monitor every contractual deadline, and coordinate with lenders, title, inspectors, and co-op agents

  • Keep the CRM and transaction management systems accurate and up to date so nothing falls through the cracks

  • Communicate proactively with clients, agents, and vendors to ensure a smooth, professional experience that reflects the Byrne brand

  • Prepare and route documents for signature, ensure compliance with brokerage and TREC requirements, and maintain organized transaction files

  • Anticipate the needs of Clay and Lesley and remove administrative and transactional friction so they can stay focused on clients

Qualifications:
  • Active Texas real estate license required

  • Prior experience as a transaction coordinator, real estate assistant, or in a real estate operations role required

  • Exceptional organization and follow-through — you live by deadlines and checklists

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a warm, client-first demeanor

  • Comfortable with real estate technology: MLS, CRM, transaction management, eSign, and Google Workspace

  • Able to juggle multiple transactions at once without losing accuracy or composure

  • Local to the Austin area and able to work full-time from our office

  • Discreet, dependable, and takes ownership of outcomes
