Job description

Talis Group’s client is a reputable & established title company in Louisville seeking an experienced Real Estate Closing Coordinator to join their close-knit team.  This position will coordinate real estate closings, generate & prepare Closing Disclosures (CDs); assist with title clearance, and ensure all documentation is accurate and ready for closing.
This is a full time, direct hire opportunity offering a salary of $55-$60k plus medical benefits, paid time off, & paid holidays.  The hours are Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm, onsite.

This role is ideal for an experienced real estate/title professional who is comfortable managing the closing process & communicating with multiple parties.  Prior title, real estate closing, or mortgage experience is required.   

Highlighted Duties:
  • Open and enter new orders into Streamline software.
  • Generate and prepare Closing Disclosures (CDs), settlement statements, and other closing documents reviewing for accuracy.
  • Coordinate real estate closing schedules & communicate with all parties (clients, agents, attorneys, lenders, buyers, and sellers to collect documentation and provide status updates.)
  • Process title commitments, policies, endorsements, and related title documentation.
  • Assist with clearing title issues & resolving title-related items prior to closing.
  • Coordinate with lenders and other parties to ensure closing requirements are met.
  • Assist with post-closing tasks & documentation.
  • Answering incoming calls & route to appropriate team members.
  • Provide professional, responsive support via phone and email.
  • Maintain clear & timely communication among all parties to ensure a smooth & efficient closing process.

Highlighted Requirements:
  • High School diploma or GED required. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word & comfortable learning new software systems.
  • 2+ years of recent title, real estate closing, or mortgage experience required.
  • Hands-on experience generating Closing Disclosures (CDs) is required.
  • Strong understanding of the real estate closing process & related documentation.
  • Experience with title processing, title commitments, or clearing title issues.
  • Strong attention to detail & organizational skills.
  • Professional, friendly, & courteous communication skills, both written & verbal.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, manage deadlines, & work independently.
